Hazel Clarrie Baker is a designer and maker of jewellery and objects. Her work predominantly focuses on the texturing and colouring of metal. Her pieces have elements of narrative and concept, whilst staying true to her aesthetic roots.
She believes that "jewellery doesn't have to be shiny, and in some cases shouldn't be", therefore challenging the common perception of jewellery being precious and beautiful. Her works evoke a sense of interaction and playfulness within the viewer.
